On June 8, 2004, Chinese Minister of Commerce, Bo Xilai, was sued in Warsaw for enthusiastically following former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Gong. Bo was accompanying Chinese President Hu Jintao to visit 4 nations of Europe and Asia, and Poland was their first stop.
