On August 4, 2003, in Conference Room XVIII of the Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), the U.N. Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights was holding its 55th session, the theme of which was: "Women and Human Rights." During this session, a Falun Gong practitioner delivered a special speech regarding the ruthless persecution of female Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang's regime.
