Published on 2/10/2001 Sponsored by the French Green Party, the Chairman of the East Asia Freedom Observers held a human-rights-related symposium in the French National Legislative Assembly on February 5, 2001. The purpose of this meeting was to let more people know about Falun Gong and to study the situation of Falun Gong in China.

Published on 12/19/2001 On the afternoon of December 16, Chicago Chinese Haihua Association and Central American New Culture Center cosponsored a Falun Gong Incident Forum in Chicago Chinatown. Western practitioner, Mr. John Nania, explains his reason for going to Tiananmen Square to appeal to Chinese government on December 16, 2001.
Published on 1/28/2002 On Jan. 25, 2005, a Falun Gong spokesperson was invited to Anchorage, Alaska to speak to the Alaskan World Affairs Council. About 70 people attended this luncheon meeting. During the speech, the Falun Gong spokesperson introduced Falun Gong and clarified the truth about the persecution in China.
Published on 2/25/2002 Five New Jersey practitioners attended YMCA’s annual conference in Essex County and West Hudson County by invitation on January 21, 2002. About 100 members listened to practitioners’ speech "Body, Mind and Spirit" which introduced Falun Gong from a medical point of view" and watched a Falun Gong video.
Published on 3/3/2002 UK Member of Parliament, Dr Stephen Ladyman, chaired a session organized by the European Friends of Falun Gong at the Houses of Parliament in the UK on the afternoon of February 27, 2002. The theme of the seminar is "China’s Human Rights Violation: How Europe Should Help Stop the Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners."

Published on 3/31/2002 On March 28, 2002, Transnational Radical Party of United Nations held the seminar in Geneva during the 58th annual conference of United Nations Human Rights Commission.
Published on 4/8/2002 On April 5, 2002, the Melbourne China Research Society in Australia held a Falun Gong Seminar. Over 40 members of the group attended the seminar. Mr. Matthew Noonan of the History Department of University of Melbourne made a keynote speech entitled "Exploring Falun Gong, a medicinal and spiritual practice."
Published on 6/25/2002 Invited by Taiwan’s Vice President, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises to professors at the "Taiwan Heart Association" meeting.
Published on 2/25/2003 On February 22, 2003, a forum entitled Community Reports on Human Rights in China was held in Vancouver. The forum was hosted by Friends of Falun Gong (B.C). Amnesty International Vancouver Branch attended the forum by invitation and delivered a speech on the current situation of Human Rights in China. The speech emphasized the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the past three years. Three Falun Gong practitioners gave speeches at the forum.
Published on 4/16/2003 On April 12, 2003, the Seattle city government’s Recreation and Leisure Department held a symposium entitled, "Falun Gong is good for both body and mind"at the Queen Anne Community Center. For a long period of time, local Dafa practitioners have been actively involved in community activities.

The speakers included International Reporters’ Congress President Nagakaku Kenryu, a Non-Partisan Alliance of Twenty-One Japanese Members of Parliament and MP Mr. Makino Seishu; Chairman of Yoko Kaneko Rescue Committee, AI Japan’s China Division Shiroi Sensho; Yoko Kaneko’s husband, Atsushi Kaneko. Two Falun Gong practitioners who had suffered persecution were also invited to give speeches.

Published on 8/8/2003 On August 4, 2003, in Conference Room XVIII of the Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), the U.N. Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights was holding its 55th session, the theme of which was: "Women and Human Rights." During this session, a Falun Gong practitioner delivered a special speech regarding the ruthless persecution of female Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang’s regime.
Published on 2/3/2004 On January 30, 2004, a teaching symposium in Cochise County, "Teaching with Inspiration, Encouragement and Creation," was held at Buena High School in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Local Falun Gong practitioners were joined by some from Tucson to set up a booth to introduce Falun Gong.
Published on 4/6/2004 During the 60th Human Rights Conference at the UN, Falun Gong and the NGO "International Education Development" held a forum together, the theme of which was "Chinese State Terrorism: The Persecution of Falun Gong."
The forum was held on March 31, 2004. Renowned human rights lawyer Karen Parker hosted the forum.
Published on 4/15/2004 On April 13, 2004, during the 60th session of UN Human Rights Commission Meeting, the Organization of International Beliefs held a seminar on the lack of freedom of belief in China. Representatives of Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend and talk about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.Practitioners Chen Gang told the audience about the persecution he suffered in a Beijing labor camp.
Published on 4/23/2004 On April 2, 6 and 13, 2004, three specialists in foreign language, traditional Chinese medicine and economics were invited to give a training session for employees of the Bureau of Standard Inspection in the Department of Economy. It was interesting to note that all three experts prominent in their own fields were Falun Dafa practitioners.
Published on 6/4/2004 On June 3, 2004, the U.S. Congressional Human Rights Caucus held a Member’s briefing on China’s current human rights situation in the Rayburn House Office Building. Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Erping Zhang was invited to the briefing and gave a 7-minute speech on the persecution of Falun Gong.

Published on 8/19/2004 The annual conference of the Canadian Bar Association was held on August 18, 2004 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a city in central Canada. The conference attracted many experts, including Canada’s Minister of Justice Mr. Irwin Cotler, the Minister of International Cooperation Ms. Aileen Carroll, Chief Justice Beverly McLachilin, Deputy Minister of Justice Mr. Paul Macklin and over 800 lawyers and other professionals in the legal system.
Published on 9/15/2004 The NGO (Non-governmental Organizations) Forum on National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs), with the focus of "Building Strategic Partnerships between NGOs and NHRIs," was held in the conference room of the National Human Rights Committee in Seoul on September 12, 2004, the eve of the 7th International Conference for NHRIs, when human right institutions will hold discussions on human right issues, strategies and partnerships.
