(7/4/04): As the city where the U.S. Declaration of Independence was signed, Philadelphia held various celebration activities for 8 days to celebrate the 228th anniversary of U.S. independence. Falun Gong practitioners in the greater Philadelphia area were invited to participate in many of the celebratory events.
