On December 12, 2003, after informing the Kiev municipal government, the Kiev Falun Dafa Association held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Embassy, hoping through International Human Rights Day to let more people pay attention to the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China and expose the Chinese Embassy for spreading lies defaming Falun Gong.
