On 9/25/04, the Eighth Annual Charlottesville Vegetarian Festival was held in in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia. The festival attracted several thousand visitors. Local Falun Gong practitioners participated in the event and demonstrated Falun Gong exercises on the band stage.
