US National Press Club Holds Special Press Conference for Falun Gong-On February 22, the Morning News group of US National Press Club (NPC) held a special press conference for Falun Gong. The topic of the conference was "US Falun Gong Practitioners Were Savagely Beaten and Illegally Detained". David Martin of NPC hosted the conference. Falun Gong spokesperson Zhang Erping gave an overview of the reasons that lead to the peaceful appeal by western practitioners on Tiananmen Square. He stressed that Falun Gong is not just China's issue but an international issue as well. He also called upon the US and the world to pay more attention to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
