On the afternoon of July 17, 2004, several thousand Falun Gong practitioners gathered on the Chanyang Avenue in front of the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and held "July 20" anti-persecution activities to call upon people from all walks of life to pay attention to the 5-five-year ruthless persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in China.
