To express their support and concern of over 100 Falun Gong practitioners on hunger strike in Jilin Prison, Falun Gong practitioners from Los Angeles held a candlelight vigil outside the Chinese Consulate on the evening of October 28, 2003. They asked the Chinese government to release all Falun Gong practitioners on hunger strikes and all illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners. They called upon the general public to be concerned with the development of this matter and give their urgent support.
