On the afternoon of July 17, 2004, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Jiang group's suppression of Falun Gong, Falun Gong practitioners from Vancouver held an anti-torture exhibition in Chinatown to expose the brutal persecution that has been taking place in China. Many more Chinese people then ever before came to watch the exhibition and ask for more information. Many people hesitated to leave. They stayed there and listened to practitioners explaining the facts again and again. They seemed to be pondering; they were sympathetic towards practitioners and felt indignation over the Jiang group's ruthless persecution.
