On December 2 --3, 2002, French Dafa practitioners went to Monaco to introduce Falun Dafa, and expose the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. At the same time, the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) held a conference to choose a sponsor city for the 2010 World Expo from five candidate cities. China's Shanghai was one of the five cities, and the head of the Chinese delegation, Li Lanqing, was the person in charge of "610 Office" and actively persecuted Dafa and Dafa practitioners.
