Published on 2/4/2004 On 2/2/04, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in front of the French Consulate in New York. They also delivered an open letter to French Consul Richard Duqu¨¦. The letter expressed their concern with the arrest of Falun Gong practitioners by French policemen and exposed the overseas extension of the persecution and framing of Falun Gong by Jiang’s regime.
Published on 2/6/2004 On 2/5/04, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference at the Canadian parliament to inform the media about the court’s verdict against Deputy Consul General of China in Toronto, Mr. Pan Xinchun. Toronto Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Joel Chipkar recently filed a libel lawsuit against Pan for libel and Pan was convicted by an Ontario Superior Court of Justice on February 3.
Published on 2/9/2004 Falun Gong practitioners gathered in front of the French Embassy in Japan for two days on February 5-6, 2004. They unfolded banners reading "Request the French authorities to give apologies to Falun Gong practitioners" and "Falun Dafa is great", urging the French government to immediately investigate the arrest incident in Paris, resist the interference and economic enticement from the Jiang’s group, and stop similar incidents of violating Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights from recurring.

Vancouver practitioners held a press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate on 6/29/04. In the press conference Jiang’s political group was soundly condemned for extending its state terrorism beyond China’s borders and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners overseas.
