The purpose of this action is to support the 130 practitioners who have been on hunger strike in China’s Masanjia Labor Camp for nearly 20 days, to strongly protest the detention of practitioners beyond the limits of their sentences, and to expose the Chinese government’s complete disregard for human life and their unwillingness to punish law enforcement officials who violate the law. Published on 8/26/2001 All practitioners on hunger strike. At 9:30am on August 24, six Melbourne practitioners began a 48-hour hunger strike without water or food at the Chinese Consulate in Melbourne.

At 6:00pm, eight practitioners who just got off work joined the hunger strike (40 hours). Meanwhile, seven other practitioners also participated in the hunger strike (although they were not able to stay the entire time outside the Chinese Consulate because of Hongfa activities and work). The reason the IcelandAir gave was that it received orders from the Icelandic government to cancel all booked tickets issued to people on a "list." Similar incidents occurring at airports in London and Baltimore showed that the Icelandic government has not changed its incorrect decision that was made under pressure from Chinese dictator Jiang, but has just transferred its actions to the counters of IcelandAir in different countries in order to alleviate the pressure in Iceland.

Published on 7/25/2002 Some practitioners from the area of North-Rhine-Westphalia held a 52-hour sit-in in front of the Chinese Consulate in Bonn-Bad Godesberg from July 19th to July 21st. The weather was ideal, hardly any wind; nature was on our side. Sending righteous thoughts every hour in close proximity, we did our part to further weaken the already fading evil energy. Several banners and sandwich boards clearly proclaimed our messages to passers-by and people in cars, "Stop the persecution of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance in China," and "Falun Dafa is good."

On July 20th we staged a parade through the whole pedestrian areas in Bonn’s city center.

Practitioners demonstrated Dafa exercises, distributed Dafa flyers and sent forth righteous thoughts along the sidewalks of busy streets. At 3PM, practitioners held a memorial service. After paying tribute in silence to those 558 Dafa practitioners who lost their precious lives because of Jiang and Luo regime’s brutal persecution, Seoul practitioners read a statement strongly condemning the crimes Jiang/Luo regime has committed in persecuting Falun Gong and demanding an end to the killing at once.
