Published on 1/4/2004 On January 2, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium came to the outside of the Chinese Consulate to protest Jiang regime’s atrocity against Falun Gong practitioners, and commemorate Falun Gong practitioner Liu Chengjun from Jilin Province who were tortured to death several days ago.

Published on 1/8/2004 After activities were held last year to call for the rescue of Liu Chengjun and many other imprisoned Dafa practitioners in Jilin Province who were on hunger strike in the jail, people in Austria continued to ask if we had any updated information about Liu Chengjun. It was shocking to know after the New Year that Liu Chengjun died as a result of the persecution he received. The brutal killing of Liu Chengjun indicates the vicious and callous nature of the persecution in China and shows that the evildoers are scared that their crimes will be exposed.

Published on 1/12/2004 On December 26 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Liu Chengjun died in the Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital of Jilin University after being brutally persecuted. Liu was one of the leading participants that interrupted cable TV signals in Changchun City in March 2002 to broadcast documentary videos about Falun Gong. Eight channels of the Changchun cable TV network broadcast the programs, including programs about how Falun Dafa has spread worldwide, and a deconstruction of the Tiananmen staged self-immolation. The video broadcast lasted for more than 40 minutes and allowed many people to realize the truth behind the Chinese regime’s propaganda used against Falun Gong.
To mourn Liu Chengchun’s death and to protest Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong, Dafa practitioners from several cities in Latvia gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Riga to peacefully appeal. Practitioners called for the wicked people that are responsible for the persecution to be severely punished.

The practitioners held a peaceful appeal in front of the Embassy to urge the Chinese government to bring to justice the chief perpetrator of the persecution, Jiang Zemin and his followers Luo Gan (Member of Standing Committee of Political Bureau of Communist Party, Secretary of Political and Legal Committee of Communist Party), Liu Jing (Deputy Minister of Public Security Department, Deputy Director of "610 Office"), and Zhou Yongkang (Minister of Public Security), who are directly responsible for carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong.

Indonesia: Falun Gong Practitioners Peacefully Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy, Urging to Bring Chief Perpetrators of the Persecution to Justice

Published on 3/7/2004 Over the past few weeks, Jiang and his followers have intensified the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. As a result, the death toll of Falun Gong practitioners due to the persecution has increased to 901. In response to this situation, on February 22, Falun Dafa practitioners in Latvia held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate, urging to bring to justice the chief perpetrator Jiang Zemin and his followers Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang.
