Published on 1/7/2002 According to a report from Falun Dafa Information Center on December 26, 2002, Ms. Tianxiong Peng, age 30, is an army medical officer in Guangzhou First Army Medical University. She and the twin sister of Tianying Peng started practicing Falun Gong in 1995. After Jiang’s regime initiated the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Tianxiong suffered persecution and harassment unceasingly. In March 2001, she was detained in an isolated room for one month in the medical university and forcibly received brainwashing consisting of propaganda materials against Falun Gong. Tianying said that her sister’s four-month old son, who had been separated from the mother, was terribly upset and cried for feeding daily.

Published on 2/27/2002 At 10am February 27, 2002, Lin Shenli, a Falun Dafa practitioner who had been illegally sent to a labor camp because of his appealing to the Chinese Government in China arrived at the Montreal Airport. Lin’s wife Li Jinyu, also a Dafa practitioner, and over 20 other practitioners held the banners read "Welcome Falun Dafa practitioner Lin Shenli" in Chinese, English and French, along with the representative from Amnesty International and reporters from about 10 medias including CBC, CTV, CJAD and Montreal Gazette, together welcome Lin’s returning with the music "Pudu", "Jishi" Dafa music playing in the background.

Published on 9/14/2002 On September 20, 2002, the 57th United Nations General Assembly entered the third day. During the past few days, among the noise of many protest organizations, the peaceful and serene practice of Falun Gong practitioners attracted many media reporters and government officials from various countries who were passing by. Many people stopped to take a photo and ask for information.

Published on 3/27/2003 On March 26, 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Lin Mingli was set free by the Number Three Qingdong Forced Labor Camp in Shanghai. Mingli is the younger brother of Falun Gong practitioner Lin Shenli, who was rescued from China’s labor camp through the Canadian government’s help. This morning, Lin Shenli, resident of Montreal, said with delight during an interview: "I just had a phone conversation with my younger brother who is now in Shanghai. He arrived at home at about noon on March 26, Beijing time."

They make use of various means to let people from all walks of life learn about support for Falun Gong from the international community, especially the lawsuit against Jiang in the US. They also want to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China and the illegal imprisonment of Ms. Yoko Kaneko in China.
Published on 7/29/2003 A Chinese couple, Mr. Bian Xuzhuang and Mrs. Shen Shumin, were recently rescued from Thailand to the US with the help of a member of Congress. On July 21,2003, they went to Capitol Hill during the Washington DC Experience Sharing Conference to thank California Congressman Pete Stark for his help when they were in great danger.
Published on 9/16/2003 After traveling for 28 days, the "Car Tour Around the US to Rescue Charles Li" that set out from California arrived at Rodney Square in Wilmington, Delaware at noon on September 10, 2003. Wilmington City Councilor Theopalis Gregory hosted the press conference, calling for the rescue of American citizen Charles Li who has been sentenced to three years of imprisonment for practicing Falun Gong.

Practitioners pointed out that the case of Lin Xiaokai is not an isolated incident. The Falun Dafa Association made three statements at the press conference.

Published on 11/29/2003 On the morning of November 28, 2003, nearly a thousand Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference at the Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia, in cold wind and rain. As families reunited on Thanksgiving Day, these practitioners called for help rescuing Falun Gong practitioners’ relatives who are illegally detained in China, and demanded China to immediately halt the persecution of Falun Gong.
Published on 7/3/2004 On June 29, 2004, in front of Toronto City Hall, over ten young practitioners held a press conference. Their bike tour will leave from the local Chinese Consulate and arrive in Washington DC on July 20, a total 1200 kilometers (about 750 miles). They hope via their effort to call all kind-hearted people to help end the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Tens of thousands of children in China have been forced to leave school, orphaned, forced from their homes, and some even tortured to death for their or their parents’ refusal to give up their beliefs.
Published on 7/24/2004 A bicycle tour to rescue children who are being persecuted in China for their beliefs in Falun Gong left Nagoya for Osaka at 9:30 a.m. on July 17, 2004. The two-hundred-mile journey took the team, which consisted of several adults and two children, three days to complete, with stops in major cities, including Kyoto.
Published on 7/30/2004 Falun Gong practitioner Liu Feng, who was studying in Ireland, has been successfully rescued and returned to Ireland. Liu Feng and his wife arrived in Dublin this week. On Thursday this week, a press conference will be held in Trinity College to inform and express thanks to all circles of society about Liu Feng’s return.
Published on 9/14/2004 After almost four years of separation and inhuman suffering, Ms. Zhou Xuefei arrived at the Newark International Airport to join her husband, Mr. Lu Chaohui. Ms. Zhou Xuefei is a commercial designer. In November 2000, police in China unlawfully arrested her for distributing truth-clarifying flyers. She was sentenced to three years of hard labor in China’s notorious forced labor camps, including the Sanshui Women’s Forced Labor Camp. Because she stayed firm in her belief, she was forced into hard labor during those three years, assigned unimaginable workloads, and suffered inhumane torture.
