Published on 2/10/2001 Falun Dafa Association of Canada held a luncheon banquet on the 8th of February on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Six Members of Parliament supported and helped make this event possible.
Over 40 guests attended the banquet, including more than 30 Members of Parliament (MP), city councilors of Ottawa, a Chinese community leader and presidents of human rights organizations. Approximately 40 Falun Gong practitioners from Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, and other areas joined in this activity.

Published on 2/28/2001 On the evening of February 16, nearly 400 people cheerfully gathered at the "Bright Pearl Restaurant" at Center Chinatown in the beautiful city of Toronto. They came to attend the "Friends of Falun Gong" kick-off banquet in celebration of Chinese New Year. The "Friends of Falun Gong" is a non-profit association that is composed of over 80 different social groups. The attendants at this impressive gathering included government officials such as Members of Parliament (MP), Members of Provincial Parliament (MPP), City Councilors, Mayors and officials from the UN office in Canada, noted public figures such as lawyers, Chinese community leaders and university president, as well as religious people such as the clergy.

Published on 12/3/2001 On the evening of December 1, 2001, Friends of Falun Gong held a banquet in Redwood City to express their appreciation to those who have been supporting the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners. About a hundred people attended the banquet. Falun Gong practitioners prepared delicious food and performed musical programs for the banquet on instruments such as cello, piano, and saxophone. The atmosphere was very cordial and enthusiastic.

Held in a downtown Toronto assembly hall operated by the municipal government, the Falun Dafa Chinese New Year Celebration attracted more than 1,200 people. The event included an informal buffet and artistic performances by practitioners and friends. Attending the event were politicians, elected officials, lawyers, professors, businessmen, leaders of the local Chinese community and foreign consular officials.

Published on 2/20/2002 February 17, 2002, Dafa practitioners from Paris, France celebrated the Chinese New year at the Taibei Culture Center in Paris with people from all social circles. Practitioners expressed their respect to Dafa and Master through dancing, reciting, singing, playing instruments and other talents.
