Truth-Compassion-Forbearance Week (27th December 2001 to 3rd January 2002) is now in mid-stream in Hobart, Australia. Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania (the southern-most state of Australia or Australia’s ’Island State’) has a population of approximately 190,000 people and hosts its annual Summer Festival from 28th December 2001 to 28th February 2002. People all over the world travel to the Hobart Summer Festival to enjoy this diverse event with a brilliant array of sounds, food, art, theatre, film and sport. Hosting the finish of the famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, Hobart’s population is estimated to swell to almost double its size.

On January 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Moscow practitioners and practitioners from Petersburg and other places gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to protest the Jiang regime’s escalated persecution against Falun Gong and the desperate killing of Dafa practitioners. Practitioners held big banners reading, "It is not allowed to spread rumors in Russia," "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China" etc. Practitioners also displayed wreathed photos of practitioners who were tortured to death, and solemnly and firmly sent forth righteous thoughts in front of the embassy to suffocate the evil force.

Several months ago, we accepted the invitation of Dafa practitioners in Richmond, Virginia to participate in a local Chinese Festival celebration activity sponsored by Richmond Children’s Museum on the weekend before Thanksgiving Day. We took the opportunity to let more people learn about Falun Dafa through giving performances, demonstrating traditional crafts and making Chinese dumplings together with teachers and students from two other Chinese Schools, and through young Dafa practitioners’ demonstration of the five sets of Falun Dafa exercises.

On December 2 --3, 2002, the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) held a conference to choose a sponsor city for the 2010 World Expo from five candidate cities. China’s Shanghai is one of the five cities, and the head of the Chinese delegation, Li Lanqing, is the person in charge of "610 Office" and actively persecutes Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Upon learning the news, French Dafa practitioners regarded this as a good opportunity to let the Monaco government and people learn the beauty of Falun Dafa, and expose the Jiang regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

On September 6, 2003, an adult education college in Uddevalla held an open to the public day. On June 5, 2004, approximately 150 Tuku Elementary School pupils, from grades 1 to grade 6, participated in a "Falun Dafa Camp" in the school’s gym. During the one-day event, pupils learned how to maintain their physical and mental health by practicing Falun Gong. Besides teaching Falun Gong, the sponsors of the event also prepared various programs such as dancing performances, movie shows and teaching skills to enrich the children.
