Published on 7/9/2004 On July 8, 2004, the Russian Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in the "Independent Press Center" of Moscow. During the press conference, practitioners exposed that the Jiang regime hired thugs to shoot practitioners in order to avoid legal action against Zeng Qinghong. Zeng, the Chinese vice-president, was visiting South Africa when the shooting happened.
Published on 7/12/2004 On July 11, 2004, about ten organizations, including Falun Gong practitioners, Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice and Global Coalition Against China’s Export of State-Run Terrorism, held a rally and grand parade in Sydney Town Hall, Australia. They gathered to protest the terrorist act of hiring gunmen to shoot Falun Gong practitioners during Chinese officials Zeng Qinghong and Bo Xilai’s visit in South Africa. The shooting aimed to stop Falun Gong practitioners from filing a lawsuit against these officials, who are Jiang Zemin’s major assistants in his persecution of Falun Gong.

Published on 8/24/2004 Four representatives from the Malaysia Falun Dafa Research Center delivered a memorandum to the South Africa Embassy in Malaysia on August 20, 2004, regarding the South Africa shooting incident targeting Australian practitioners on June 28. Zeng Qinghong, a member of Jiang’s faction, is suspected of being a behind-the-scene instigator. It is hoped that the South African government will expedite the investigation into the case.
