Published on 6/9/2004 On June 5, 2004, approximately 150 Tuku Elementary School pupils, from grades 1 to grade 6, participated in a "Falun Dafa Camp" in the school’s gym. During the one-day event, pupils learned how to maintain their physical and mental health by practicing Falun Gong. Besides teaching Falun Gong, the sponsors of the event also prepared various programs such as dancing performances, movie shows and teaching skills to enrich the children.

Published on 6/28/2004 In May 2004, the school held its annual sports meet. One student’s mother, Ms. Chen Mingmei, is a Falun Gong practitioner. She coordinated the exercise demonstration. During the 10-minute demonstration, more than 100 practitioners simultaneously demonstrated the five sets of exercises. Their yellow exercise suits and the elegant exercise movements attracted a great number of people to ask for more information about the practice. The more they learned about Falun Gong, the more anxious they became to learn the practice. As a result, there has been a sharp increase in the number of attendees to the 9-day lecture series.

Published on 7/2/2004 Dutch Falun Gong practitioners started a project to let children know more about Falun Gong. After the practitioners sent information to schools in the Netherlands, a school near Rotterdam invited the practitioners to tell them more about Falun Gong, the exercises and the persecution in China. The project comes in the wake of the "Petals of Peace" project that was formed to support the Chinese children who lost their parents because of the persecution in China.

Published on 7/19/2004 Falun Dafa was first introduced in Bali on 13 April 2001. After some time, Falun Dafa was spread to various areas of Bali, and during this time, we found for the first time a blind person who wanted to practice Falun Dafa. In order for him to become a practitioner, he needed to be able to study Dafa, besides doing the five exercises. Of course a person who is blind faced difficulties. In order for us to solve this problem, he went with us to study with other practitioners, and simply listened during the study session.

Published on 9/27/2004 On September 22,2004, Falun Dafa practitioners from the University of Texas at Austin held an anti-torture exhibition to expose Jiang and his faction’s brutal persecution of people who practice Falun Gong. The exhibition shocked the students and faculty members of the university. The university newspaper "The Daily Texan" reported the event.

Published on 11/8/2004 On October 30 and 31, 2004, Falun Gong club at Tsinghua University in Taiwan participated in the Tsinghua Carnival of Knowledge sponsored by the university. Apart from setting up display booth in the campus, the club also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on the main stage and utilized the opportunity to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution facts to students and guests.

Published on 11/16/2004 The University of Montreal in Canada celebrated Solidarity Week November 8-12, 2004. Montreal Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to introduce Falun Gong to teachers and students at lunchtime each of the five days. They also staged an anti-torture reenactment to expose the crimes of Jiang’s group in the persecution of Falun Gong. Audience reaction changed from shock and puzzlement to sympathy. Many people not only supported Falun Gong but also wanted to learn Falun Gong.

Canada: Falun Gong Practitioners' Anti-Torture Exhibit Draws Attention at the University of Montreal
