Published on 9/13/2002 It’s been a year since the Falun Gong Research Club formed in the National Taipei Art University. We obtained quite a lot support from the university. In our university, many people, including professors, students, drillmasters and workers have learned the Falun Gong exercises. On September 11,2002, during the freshmen orientation, we were invited to give an introduction of Dafa. In the early morning, during the orientation break, we handed out the prepared introductory materials to the students attending the orientation.

Falun Dafa Is Thriving at the National Taipei Art University

Published on 1/28/2003 On January 25, 2003 from 11am to 4pm, the celebration of the Chinese New Year, the year of the sheep, took place at the Human Archeology Museum, University of Pennsylvania. This is one activity of the series, World Culture and Family Event. Falun Gong practitioners participated in the activity for the third time. We felt that more people wanted to learn Falun Gong exercises this year.

Published on 4/4/2003 From March 31 to April 4, 2003, an annual "Human Rights Week" was held on the campus of the University of North Carolina. The aim of the activity is to introduce information and projects related to human rights so as to educate the students on human rights issues, and to provide them with an opportunity to get to know and participate in the international community. As it was spring and the weather was pleasant, many students were out walking the grounds of the campus. Our Falun Dafa booth offered them a good place to learn the facts about Falun Gong.

Clarifying the Truth during "Human Rights Week" at the University of North Carolina

Published on 4/8/2003 At a special seminar entitled "Various Aspects of Fate" that was held at the Taiwan School of Law Enforcement on March 27, the guest speaker talked about some concepts of cultivation. For example, some of the things discussed were how the human’s primordial spirit does not become extinct, how karma and De are produced and the relationship between the two, the differences between a cultivator and the average person in life and in personal values, reincarnation and returning to the true self.

The practitioners’ peaceful practice attracted many students to watch and some asked about practice time on campus after the demo.

Published on 9/18/2003 On September 10-11, 2003, Dafa practitioners in Victoria and Vancouver together set up a "Falun Dafa" booth for "Clubs Day." We prepared the latest Dafa truth-clarifying materials in different languages and postcards to be sent to the Canadian Prime Minister. We also played Dafa truth-clarifying VCDs and demonstrated the exercises. Through talking with students we clarified the facts about Falun Dafa. We also invited students to take part in our Falun Dafa Club.

Published on 9/27/2003 On September 3, 2003, Wednesday, Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney participated in the health expo held at West Sydney University at Penrich. In our booth, we played the Falun Gong exercise instruction video, showed pictures and placed various truth clarification literatures on the table for visitors to select. The practitioners introduced the greatness of Dafa to visitors and narrated the relationship between cultivation practice and health. Many visitors showed great interest in Dafa and requested literature and details of practice.

Published on 10/8/2003 On October 3, 2003 as part of many activities welcoming the new and returning students at the beginning of the semester, Mr. Chen Gang, who was illegally detained by Jiang’s regime for 18 months, came to campus to thank the students, teachers and media that helped rescue him.
